A senior second opinion, on retainer.

Not every organization needs Celadon to build something. Advisory is standing access to senior, vendor-neutral judgment for leaders making AI decisions with their own teams, their own engineers, and their own suppliers.

Why this exists

Most AI advice comes from someone selling something.

Platform vendors recommend their platform. Systems integrators recommend a large integration. Internal teams advocate for the approach they already know. Each of those views may be right, but none of them is disinterested, and a leader without a technical background has no straightforward way to referee.

Advisory is a standing relationship with someone who is not bidding on the implementation. The recommendation is made in your interest — including when the recommendation is that your internal team is already on the right track and does not need outside help.

What Advisory covers

Judgment where it is expensive to be wrong.

01

Architecture review

A senior read on a proposed design before it is committed: where it will hold, where it will strain, and what it will cost to change later.

02

Vendor and platform decisions

Evaluating proposals, contracts, and claims on data handling, hosting, controls, capability, and total cost — without a stake in the outcome.

03

Evaluation methodology

Helping an internal team define what correct means for their system and build a test set that will actually catch regressions.

04

Investment triage

A structured second opinion on which initiatives deserve funding, which should be deferred, and which are solving a process problem with software.

05

Governance and risk posture

Practical guidance on access, retention, review paths, and disclosure — proportionate to the risk rather than to the anxiety.

06

Executive and board sessions

Briefings that give non-technical leadership an accurate mental model, so they can ask better questions of their own teams and suppliers.

Who it is for

Advisory fits when the building is already covered.

What is intentionally excluded

Advice, not delivery.

Advisory does not include implementation, and it is not unlimited access. It is a defined amount of senior time each month — sessions, reviews, and written recommendations — at a fixed retainer typically in the $5,000–$12,000 range, rather than an open line for any question at any hour.

If the work needs building, that is Build. If the question is which workflow to fund in the first place, a Decision Sprint answers it faster and more thoroughly than a retainer will.

An informed second opinion, before the decision.

A focused conversation about the decisions in front of you and where independent judgment would be worth having.

2A 30-minute call. The problem, the systems involved, and whether AI is the right answer — no cost, no obligation.
3A fixed-fee proposal. A scoped first phase with a clear objective and price, before any work begins.
